Haven't seen anything concrete in my division, but the general vibe is definitely one of caution. It's hard to ignore what's happening across the industry, and it feels like everyone's holding their breath. Perhaps FT is just better positioned to weather this particular storm, or maybe the communication hasn't trickled down to all levels yet. It's definitely a strange quiet.
I've heard whispers, but nothing official. My sense is that while other firms are making drastic cuts, FT might be taking a more measured approach. Could be strategic, could be a sign they're waiting to see how things play out. Either way, the uncertainty is palpable, and it's understandable why people are looking for clarity from leadership.
