Franklin Templeton - Project slowdowns and budget cuts?

Hey everyone, Been feeling a bit uneasy at Franklin Templeton lately. Been hearing a lot of buzz about project timelines being pushed back and some departments are apparently seeing pretty significant budget reviews. Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. My manager's been super tight-lipped, just saying 'operational efficiencies' and 'strategic realignment'. Doesn't really inspire confidence, you know? I haven't seen any official announcements or anything concrete, but the vibe feels different. Fewer external postings than usual, and the ones that are up seem to be for highly specialized roles. Just trying to gauge if anyone else is picking up on similar signals or if it's just my team/department feeling the pinch. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the air feels a bit heavy. Curious to hear if others are experiencing this too. Any insights or similar observations would be appreciated.

I've definitely noticed a shift in atmosphere too. It feels like there's more caution around new initiatives, and any spending requests are getting an extra layer of scrutiny. It's understandable in the current economic climate, but the lack of clear communication from leadership is definitely adding to the uncertainty. Hopefully, we'll get some clarity soon about the long-term strategy.

Same here. The 'operational efficiencies' talk is becoming a daily refrain. While I appreciate the need for fiscal responsibility, it's hard not to worry when you see project scopes being reduced or timelines extended without a clear explanation. Just hoping these changes lead to a stronger, more stable company in the end, even if it's a bit bumpy right now.
