Hey everyone, I'm based in the [location] office and lately, the vibe has been a bit… off. Nothing concrete, no official announcements, but there's this undercurrent of unease. Meetings are getting shorter, less frequent. Some projects that were greenlit a few months ago seem to have suddenly hit the brakes, or at least, are moving at a glacial pace. I've noticed fewer people grabbing coffee or lingering after hours. It's probably just the usual end-of-quarter jitters, but it feels different this time. Anyone else in FT experiencing something similar? Is it just my department, or is there a broader slowdown happening? Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the silence is a little deafening. Curious to hear if others are seeing or feeling anything.

I've been picking up on similar vibes in my department. It's the quiet things – fewer emails about new initiatives, team members being a bit more cagey about their workload. It’s definitely more than just end-of-quarter stress, I feel like. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull and things will pick up soon, but it’s hard not to feel a bit anxious when the atmosphere shifts like this without a clear explanation.

Could this be related to the broader market trends? Sometimes when there's uncertainty in the financial world, companies tend to pull back a bit, review their strategies, and slow down on new projects. It doesn't always mean something is wrong, but it can certainly create that feeling of unease. I'm trying to focus on my own tasks and stay productive, but I agree, the general mood has shifted.
