FT - Thinking about switching, but is it the right time?

Been at my current role for a few years and starting to feel a bit stagnant. Franklin Templeton has always been on my radar as a solid player in the asset management space. Their reputation seems decent, and I've seen some interesting opportunities there in the past. However, with the broader market uncertainty and all the whispers about potential cuts in finance, I'm hesitant to make a move right now. Does anyone working at FT, or who has recently interviewed there, have a sense of the company's stability and outlook? Are they actively hiring, or is it more of a 'wait and see' approach? Any insights into team stability or potential upcoming changes would be super helpful. Trying to make an informed decision here.

It's a tough call with the current market sentiment. FT is definitely a well-established firm, and historically, they've weathered storms pretty well. I'd suggest digging into their recent performance reports and looking for any recent analyst upgrades or downgrades. Sometimes, even in uncertain times, specific sectors or divisions within larger firms can be quite stable or even growing. Maybe try to connect with some people in the specific teams you're interested in on LinkedIn to get a more granular view of their current climate.
