Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else is picking up on a weird vibe at GE Aerospace recently. Not hearing anything concrete, no official announcements, but it feels like there's a lot of hushed conversations and people seem a bit on edge. The usual internal comms feel…different? More corporate speak, less direct. Just wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if it's specific to certain departments. Maybe it's just the usual Q4 jitters, but it feels a bit more significant this time. Anyone else in the same boat? Any insights from managers or leadership that might shed some light? Just trying to get a better understanding of what might be happening behind the scenes. Don't want to spread unfounded rumors, but better to be aware if there's something to it.

I've noticed something similar, though I'm in a different division. It's like there's an undercurrent of uncertainty that wasn't there before. Performance metrics seem to be under tighter scrutiny, and there's a definite increase in formal review processes. It's hard to pinpoint, but the general mood feels more cautious, as if everyone's waiting for the other shoe to drop. Let's hope it's just the typical end-of-year flux and not indicative of larger shifts.

Could be related to the upcoming split and the focus on individual business units. There's often a period of adjustment and strategic realignments when major corporate changes are on the horizon. People might be feeling the pressure to demonstrate value and secure their position within their respective entities. It's a stressful time, no doubt, but probably just part of the process to streamline operations and create more focused companies.
