GE Aero - Worried about future workload and roles

Alright folks, hoping for some perspective here. I've been with GE Aerospace for a few years now, and lately, the workload on my team has been… intense. We're taking on more projects, deadlines are tightening, but it feels like the headcount isn't keeping pace. On top of that, there's been a lot of talk about strategic realignments and focusing on core areas. While that sounds good on paper, it makes me wonder if some roles or even entire functions are being re-evaluated for necessity. I haven't seen any official layoff notices, and my direct manager is tight-lipped, just saying 'business as usual.' But the underlying tension is palpable. I keep thinking about what happened in other divisions a while back, and it's hard not to draw parallels. Is anyone else in a similar boat, seeing increased pressure without clear headcount growth? Or maybe you're in a department that seems to be expanding? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or just specific pockets feeling the squeeze.
