Hey everyone. Been in GE Aerospace for a few years now, and lately, the vibe has been... off. It's not like there are mass emails or anything, but there's definitely a hum of uncertainty. My manager is being super cagey about future projects, and we've seen a few long-time folks 'explore other opportunities' which feels a bit too coincidental. No official word, but the general feeling is we're in for some changes. Anyone else experiencing this? Trying to get a read on whether this is standard Q4 slowdown anticipation or if there's something concrete happening behind the scenes. Just want to be prepared, you know? Trying not to panic but also trying to be realistic. What are your thoughts?

Sometimes it's just the natural ebb and flow of project cycles or internal re-orgs that aren't communicated broadly until they're finalized. The departures could be unrelated retirements or people seeking different challenges. It's tough when there's no clarity, but hopefully, it's just standard procedure and not indicative of anything major. Keep an eye out for official announcements, that's usually the best indicator.
