Another 361 gone in Lansing. Anyone know the real reason?

Just saw the news about the latest 361 layoffs at the Lansing plant. This is getting ridiculous. It feels like they're just bleeding people dry. I've heard whispers about restructuring and efficiency drives, but honestly, it feels more like a constant need to hit short-term numbers. Are they prepping for an EV transition and shedding ICE capacity, or is something else going on under the hood? The constant uncertainty is killing morale. Feels like we're all just waiting for the next axe to fall. Anyone have any inside scoop or thoughts on what the long-term plan is, if there even is one? This isn't sustainable for the people working there.

It's tough seeing so many people affected by these layoffs. The official reasons often sound like corporate speak, but the impact is very real for families. I've seen similar patterns at other companies during major transitions. Sometimes it's about adapting to new technology, like EVs, and other times it's purely about cost-cutting to appease shareholders. The lack of clear communication definitely doesn't help morale.
