Seriously, did anyone see the after-hours drop? It's gotta be more than just macro stuff, right? I'm in software, been here about 5 years and seen a couple of these cycles before. Always feels like the stock takes a hit, then a month or two later, bam, 'restructuring' or 'right-sizing' or whatever euphemism they're using this time. My team just finished a major deliverable, so I *should* be safe, but you never know. Anyone else feeling a little queasy about this?

Yeah, saw that drop too. I'm in engineering, and honestly, this happens pretty regularly. They over-promise on EV targets, Wall Street gets spooked when they don't hit them perfectly, and then everyone freaks out. I wouldn't panic sell your stock or anything, but definitely polish up that resume. Maybe start networking a bit, just in case. Better to be prepared than surprised. It's a good idea to check in with your close contacts within the company if you can.

Honestly, I think people are overreacting. GM is still making bank on trucks and SUVs, even if the EV transition is a bit bumpy. They've got a ton of legacy costs they're dealing with, and the UAW just got a massive win. Someone's gotta pay for all that, and of course the market is going to be sensitive. Unless they completely miss earnings next quarter, I doubt there will be any major layoffs. Chill out and go enjoy your weekend.
