Any GS folks seeing increased 'efficiency' talks internally?

Hey everyone, been hearing a lot more chatter about 'streamlining operations' and 'enhancing productivity' in the internal town halls at Goldman lately. It's been ramped up quite a bit in the last quarter. Not seeing any official announcements or numbers, but the language feels... familiar. Anyone else in other divisions picking up on this? Trying to gauge if this is just general corporate speak or if there's something more brewing under the surface. Feels like the calm before a storm, and I'm just trying to prepare myself mentally, or maybe start updating the resume just in case. Anyone have any intel or similar vibes from their teams?

Definitely picking up on the same vibes. The 'efficiency' rhetoric has been louder than usual across different teams. It's almost like a recurring theme in every update, but without concrete details. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.

I've noticed it too. It's definitely more than just standard corporate buzzwords this time around. The frequency and emphasis feel different. It's hard not to read into it, especially with how things have been in the wider market. Keeping an eye out for any official signals.
