More layoffs this week - anyone else affected?

Just heard about another round of layoffs happening on July 18th. Saw a news blurb about it but details are scarce. Seems like it hit a specific business unit, but the exact scope isn't clear. This is getting tiring. Feels like every few months there's another wave. Is anyone in the same boat or know more about which teams are impacted? Trying to get a sense of the scale and if it's just this one area or more widespread. The constant uncertainty is really starting to wear on me and my colleagues. Feels like we're always looking over our shoulders.

Ugh, this news is so disheartening. It's completely understandable why you'd feel that way. The constant instability is brutal, and it makes it so hard to plan or feel secure in your role. I hope those affected land on their feet quickly, and I'm sending positive vibes your way. It's a tough climate out there for sure, and collective anxiety is probably pretty high across the company right now.

Yeah, I've seen the whispers too. It's definitely unsettling when these things keep happening. Without official communication, speculation runs wild, and that uncertainty is probably worse than knowing for sure. Hang in there and focus on what you can control. Networking and keeping your skills sharp are always good strategies during times like these, regardless of where you are.
