Seriously, the uncertainty is killing me. Every day I come to work wondering if today is the day I get the dreaded calendar invite. The rumors are swirling, the whispers are getting louder, and the constant fear is impacting my productivity. It's impossible to focus when you're constantly bracing for the worst. If they're planning layoffs, just announce it already! I'd rather know my fate and start planning my next move than live in this perpetual state of anxiety. This constant "will they/won't they" is worse than actually losing my job. It's cruel to employees and bad for morale. Just be transparent and get it over with!

I totally get where you're coming from. I was in the same boat at my last company before a big restructuring. The not knowing is honestly worse than the actual news. My advice is to start quietly updating your resume and networking. Even if the worst *doesn't* happen, it's good to be prepared and have options. Plus, feeling like you're taking control can help ease some of that anxiety.

Honestly, I think people are overreacting. There's always some level of uncertainty in big tech. Maybe performance reviews are coming up and people are conflating that with layoffs? I'm not saying it's *impossible* that there will be cuts, but panicking before anything official is announced is just self-sabotage. Focus on your work and try to tune out the noise.
