Just saw an internal job posting I was interested in get taken down after only a day. When I asked around, got a vague response about 're-evaluating needs.' This isn't the first time I've seen something like this happen recently. It feels like hiring has slowed to a crawl, and not just for external roles. It's making me a bit nervous about job security, even though there's been zero official word about layoffs. Feels like a quiet hiring freeze might be in effect. Anyone else experiencing this or have any insights into what might be going on behind the scenes?

Yeah, I've definitely picked up on that too. The internal postings disappearing and the vague responses are a major red flag. It's unsettling not getting a clear message, especially when you see opportunities vanish so quickly. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes and if it's worth investing more time in internal applications right now. Hope it's just a temporary pause, but the uncertainty is definitely palpable.
