Hershey: What's going on with the Q4 hiring freeze? Any insights?

So, I'm hearing from multiple sources that Q4 hiring has essentially been frozen across the board at Hershey. No official communication, of course, but managers are being told to hold off on extending any new offers, even for critical roles. This is definitely a shift from previous years where Q4 was usually a busy time for recruitment. It makes me wonder if this is a precursor to something bigger. Are they just being cautious with the economic outlook, or are they anticipating some sort of restructuring? I'm trying to stay optimistic, but this feels like more than just typical end-of-year budget tightening. Curious to hear if anyone has any intel or has experienced similar slowdowns or freezes in the past that preceded layoffs.

This is definitely concerning. I've been keeping an eye on their job postings, and there seems to be a significant slowdown compared to earlier in the year. It could be a standard economic adjustment, but given the lack of transparency, it's understandable why people are speculating about deeper issues. Hopefully, it's just a conservative approach to the current market conditions and not indicative of more significant financial headwinds.
