Hess - Anyone else feeling the uncertainty?

Hey everyone, Been seeing a lot of chatter around the industry lately, and frankly, it's starting to make me a bit nervous about Hess. No official word or anything concrete, but the general market conditions and some of the strategic moves (or lack thereof) have me wondering what's happening behind closed doors. I've been with the company for a few years now, and while things have been stable, the current economic climate feels different. I've heard whispers of budget tightening in some departments, and the general vibe in some team meetings feels a bit more guarded than usual. Has anyone else picked up on anything similar? Are you in a department that feels safe, or are you also getting a similar sense of unease? Just trying to gauge the temperature and see if I'm overthinking this or if there's a legitimate reason to be concerned. Would love to hear any insights or observations, even if it's just speculation. Better to be prepared, right? Thanks.

I hear you. It's that feeling of the ground shifting beneath you, even without a clear reason. The market's been a rollercoaster, and it's natural to feel uneasy when you don't have all the pieces. Hopefully, any internal discussions are focused on navigating this period effectively. It's tough when the rumor mill is churning and official channels are quiet.

Completely understandable to feel that way. Uncertainty breeds anxiety, especially when it's your livelihood. It's good to stay informed and connect with colleagues, even if it's just to share observations. Often, what seems like a storm brewing ends up being a brief squall. Fingers crossed for clarity soon.
