Totally feeling it. Been at HP for 5 years in engineering and the silence is deafening. The 'restructuring' buzzword is making me nervous, too. I started quietly reaching out to my network and brushing up on some skills, just in case. It sucks, because I actually *like* my job, but I can't afford to be caught off guard. Best of luck to you – hopefully, it's just corporate paranoia.
Honestly, this happens every few years. I've been through three 'restructurings' at HP. Usually, it's a lot of noise for not much impact on individual teams. Keep your head down, focus on your work, and don't buy into the rumor mill. Start documenting your achievements; that's always a good idea. It might amount to nothing more than a stressful few weeks.
