Anyone feeling the pressure at HP lately?

Work has felt... odd lately. Morale seems lower than usual, and there's a general sense of uncertainty. We've been hearing a lot about 'efficiency' and 'future-proofing' from leadership, which usually translates to some kind of reduction down the line. I'm in [mention a plausible department like 'IT Operations' or 'Supply Chain'] and honestly, we've been stretched thin for a while. Now I'm worried that 'streamlining' is going to mean 'fewer people doing more work' or, worse, 'no people doing the work'. Saw some headlines referencing potential job cuts tied to strategic shifts. Anyone else in a similar boat or have insights into what's really going on behind the scenes at HP? Trying to not panic but it's hard when the air feels thick with unspoken changes.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too, especially in engineering. The constant talk of restructuring is definitely adding to the stress. It feels like we're always being asked to do more with less, and the ambiguity about what comes next is pretty unsettling. Hopefully, it's just a cycle and things will stabilize soon, but it's hard not to worry.

Definitely. It feels like we're in a holding pattern. Leadership is busy talking about the future, but the present reality is a lot of us are already overloaded and unsure if our roles are even secure. It's a tough environment when you're constantly bracing for potential changes that might impact your livelihood.
