The numbers being thrown around are pretty significant, like 4,000 to 6,000 jobs over the next few years. Seems like a lot of it is tied to 'boosting integration' of certain new technologies. I'm trying to figure out if this is a blanket reduction or if specific departments are more at risk. Has anyone in engineering, sales, or marketing at HP gotten any direct communication or seen any internal signals about what this actually entails?
