Anyone else feeling a little... twitchy lately?

I've been at HubSpot for 5 years now, in the sales enablement team. I genuinely love my job, but I can't shake this feeling of unease. The company's been oddly quiet about future plans, and there's been this subtle shift in priorities. Less focus on long-term growth, more on immediate efficiency. I keep seeing meeting invites pop up on calendars that get quickly canceled. Maybe it's just me being paranoid, but the silence is deafening. Anyone else sensing something similar in their departments? Or am I just overthinking things?

I feel you. I'm in marketing, and we've definitely felt a similar tightening of the belt. The "do more with less" mantra is being chanted daily. We lost a project last month because the budget was suddenly slashed, even though it was projected to bring in significant leads. It's unsettling when things shift like this, especially with the lack of clear communication. Makes it hard to plan or even feel secure.

Honestly, companies go through phases. Five years is a long time. They probably just hired a new consultant who's pushing for optimization. Or maybe they're trying to boost numbers before an earnings call. I'd say, keep your head down, focus on your work, and try not to overthink it. If you're really worried, start updating your resume, just in case. But panicking won't help anything.
