HubSpot hiring freeze rumors?

Yo, I've been keeping an eye on HubSpot's careers page and also noticed a significant slowdown in new postings over the past month or so. Also, a friend who's in recruiting mentioned they heard some internal chatter about a potential hiring freeze kicking in soon, maybe even retroactively for some approved roles. This is purely anecdotal and unconfirmed, so take it with a massive grain of salt. But it ties into the general sentiment I've been seeing in the market and even within some internal project discussions here. It's not a layoff *report*, but it feels like a precursor to one, or at least a sign of belt-tightening. Has anyone else on the hiring or recruiting side at HubSpot noticed this? Or any managers who've had recent discussions about headcount? Curious to hear if anyone has concrete info or just more of this 'feeling'.

Anyone else feeling the HubSpot vibe lately?

Hey all, Been at HubSpot for a few years now, on the marketing ops side. Lately, there's been this weird quietness in the air. Not official layoff news, but just... a shift. Projects are getting re-prioritized like crazy, some teams feel a bit leaner, and there's a general sense of 'what's next?'. Is anyone else picking up on this? Is it just me? I've seen some rumblings on other platforms about broader tech slowdowns, and while HubSpot is usually pretty resilient, I can't help but wonder if we're not immune. Anyone heard anything, even whispers? Or are you seeing similar trends in your departments? Just trying to get a feel for the temperature here. Trying not to panic, but also want to be prepared. Any insights from other Hubspotters would be greatly appreciated.

Did anyone else's team get a 'reorg' announcement today?

Just got an email about our team structure changing, effective immediately. It was pretty vague, just said it's to 'optimize for future growth' and that 'roles and responsibilities may shift'. No mention of layoffs directly, but the wording feels... ominous. My manager is in back-to-back meetings and hasn't responded to my questions. Is anyone else hearing this? What does this usually mean? My role is in customer success, been here for 2 years. Feels like a bad sign, especially with how things have been lately. Anyone have experience with this kind of announcement turning into something worse?

Seeing some weird behavior from leadership lately...

Hey all, been at HubSpot for about 3 years now, working on the product team. Lately, things just feel... off. My skip-level meetings have been cut short, the all-hands felt really rushed, and there's been a lot of 'synergy' talk that sounds like corporate buzzword bingo. My direct manager is being super cagey about roadmap details too, which is unusual. We're usually pretty transparent. Anyone else in engineering or related fields noticing similar vibes? Is this just my team or is there a broader shift happening that I'm missing? Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the office mood is definitely shifting from 'fast-paced growth' to 'what's next?' Kinda getting the jitters, not gonna lie.

How much notice are people getting if laid off?

Look, I'm probably just being anxious, but the energy on my team (Engineering) has been WEIRD lately. My manager has been in back-to-back meetings with the VP, and everyone's being super vague about upcoming projects. I know it's all speculation, but IF layoffs were to happen, does anyone know what the standard notice period is in Massachusetts? I'm trying to mentally and financially prepare myself for the worst, so any info would be really helpful. Even a ballpark estimate would be better than nothing. I’m only concerned about official notice, not rumors or anything. Thanks in advance.

Is HubSpot OVERHYPING growth to investors?

Been at HubSpot for almost 4 years now, in the Sales org. I'm starting to feel like the pressure to hit unrealistic numbers is insane. It feels like we're constantly pushing, pushing, pushing for growth at all costs, and I'm worried it's not sustainable. My friend, who's an AE, said he heard from his manager that the higher-ups are feeling the heat to show continued exponential growth to investors, even if it means cutting corners or making promises we can't keep. I’m not saying layoffs are inevitable, but this kind of pressure cooker environment can't be good for anyone long-term. Anyone else feeling the same way, or am I just paranoid?

Just got laid off... feels like a gut punch.

Well, it finally happened. Got the call this morning. Part of the marketing team, been here almost 3 years. To say I'm shocked is an understatement. They said it was a 'restructuring' and my role was 'no longer needed.' I poured my heart and soul into this company. The worst part is the lack of transparency. We were all working our butts off, hitting goals, and then BAM, out of nowhere. Severance package was okay, a few months of pay and benefits, but still... I'm angry, I'm sad, and I'm scared. Now I'm facing a job market flooded with other laid-off tech workers. Thanks, HubSpot, for nothing. Time to dust off LinkedIn I guess.

What would a severance package even look like?

Okay, so let's say the worst happens and HubSpot does decide to do some layoffs. What are we realistically looking at in terms of severance? I'm talking weeks of pay, benefits continuation, outplacement services... My friend at another tech company got a pretty raw deal recently, so I want to be prepared. I've been here for 6 years in engineering. Anyone who's been through this before, or has any inside info, please share! Trying to figure out if I can afford to breathe easily for a few months or if I need to start applying to anything and everything *immediately*.

Heard some chatter... anyone else nervous?

I'm in the sales org, been with HubSpot for almost 4 years now. Lately, the higher-ups have been extra quiet during our weekly team meetings, which is usually the opposite of what happens when things are going smoothly. I've also noticed fewer new leads coming through, and some accounts seem to be freezing their spending. Maybe it's just the usual end-of-quarter jitters, but I can't shake this feeling something's brewing. Anyone else feeling the same tension? Am I just being paranoid, or should I update my resume?

JUST GOT GHOSTED AFTER FINAL INTERVIEW?! WTF, HUBSPOT?!

Okay, I need to vent. I went through THREE rounds of interviews for a marketing manager role, including a presentation to the hiring manager and a final interview with the VP. Nailed it, or so I thought. The VP even said they were 'really impressed' and would be in touch by the end of the week. That was two weeks ago. Radio silence. I've followed up twice, and nothing. Seriously? Is this how HubSpot treats potential employees? It's unbelievably unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. Thanks for nothing!

Severance Package Question - Need Advice!

Hypothetical question here, but important to be prepared, right? Has anyone gone through a layoff at HubSpot in the past and can share details about the severance package? Specifically, how many weeks of pay per year of service? Also, what about benefits continuation - how long did that last? Trying to understand what I might be looking at, should the worst happen. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone else feeling a little... twitchy lately?

I've been at HubSpot for 5 years now, in the sales enablement team. I genuinely love my job, but I can't shake this feeling of unease. The company's been oddly quiet about future plans, and there's been this subtle shift in priorities. Less focus on long-term growth, more on immediate efficiency. I keep seeing meeting invites pop up on calendars that get quickly canceled. Maybe it's just me being paranoid, but the silence is deafening. Anyone else sensing something similar in their departments? Or am I just overthinking things?
