Hi all, I've been with HubSpot for a few years now and really enjoy the culture and the product. Recently, though, I've been thinking a lot about my long-term career trajectory. With the market being what it is, and the constant evolution of MarTech, it feels crucial to be proactive about growth. I'm curious to hear from others, especially those who have been here a while or have transitioned within HubSpot. What opportunities have you found for professional development? Are there specific roles or teams that seem to be expanding or offering exciting new challenges? I'm not necessarily looking to jump ship, but I want to make sure I'm setting myself up for success and staying relevant in this fast-paced industry. It's great you're thinking proactively about your growth at HubSpot! The company does offer a lot of internal mobility. Have you explored the internal job board regularly? Many people have successfully pivoted into different departments or roles by keeping an eye on openings and networking with hiring managers. Also, don't underestimate the power of informal mentorships – seeking advice from people in roles you aspire to can open doors and provide valuable insights into skill development needed for those positions.

Have you looked into any of their official training programs or certifications? Sometimes taking initiative on a specific project that aligns with a desired future role, even if it's a stretch, can really showcase your ambition and capabilities to leadership. Connecting with your manager about your aspirations is also key; they might have insights into emerging needs or development paths you haven't considered.
