Is it just me or has internal mobility dried up at HubSpot?

Just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone else has noticed. I've been looking to move internally to a different team within HubSpot for the last few months. Historically, I've seen quite a bit of movement and internal transfers happen pretty regularly. People seem to genuinely get opportunities to grow within the company. But lately, it feels like the internal job board is stagnant. The few roles that do pop up seem to get flooded with applications or disappear quickly. I've reached out to a couple of hiring managers for roles I'm qualified for, and the response has been radio silent or a polite 'we're not actively recruiting right now.' It makes me wonder if budgets are tighter for internal hires too, or if there's a broader strategy shift happening that's impacting cross-functional movement. Anyone else hitting these walls when trying to explore internal opportunities?

I've noticed something similar. It does feel like the internal job market has tightened up recently. Maybe it's a combination of people staying put for now and a bit of a slowdown in new roles opening up. I'm keeping an eye on it, but it's definitely a different vibe than I remember from a year or two ago. Hope things pick up soon, as internal growth is a big draw here.

Yeah, I've heard this from a few people too. It's a bit concerning when the expected internal mobility seems to be less prevalent. I wonder if it's a strategic shift, or perhaps just a temporary lull. I've been advocating for more visibility and streamlined processes for internal moves, so hopefully, that's something the company is looking into. It's important for retention and employee development.
