Seriously, what is going on at IBM? My department has been understaffed for months, and the workload just keeps piling up. We're being told to 'do more with less' and that 'efficiency is key,' but it feels more like we're being set up to fail. Projects are slipping, quality is starting to suffer, and people are burning out. I've seen managers shuffling responsibilities around, trying to cover gaps, but it's not sustainable. Morale is in the basement. People are whispering, looking over their shoulders. We haven't heard anything official, but the vibe is definitely off. It feels like a quiet reduction is happening, or at least the conditions are being created for one. Has anyone else experienced this kind of pressure cooker environment recently?
