Been hearing a lot of buzz lately, and honestly, the vibe in my team feels… off. We haven't had any official announcements, no 'reorganizations' or anything concrete. But you can just feel the tension. Meetings are shorter, people seem more hesitant to ask for resources, and there's a definite air of uncertainty. It reminds me of previous times when things were shaky before major cuts. Has anyone else picked up on similar undercurrents at IBM? It's tough to stay focused when you feel like your job might be on the line any day now, even if leadership isn't confirming anything. Just looking for some shared experience here, I guess.

I've definitely felt that unease myself. There's a strange quietness that's more concerning than any official memo. Projects seem to be slowing down, and there's a lot of 'wait and see' attitude. It makes planning for the next quarter feel like a guessing game. Hoping it's just a cyclical thing, but the feeling is hard to shake.

The 'undercurrents' are strong. My department's been scrutinizing every spend, and there's a noticeable shift in how new initiatives are being greenlit – much more caution. It creates a challenging environment for innovation when the primary focus seems to be on trimming the fat. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to what we fear.
