Another layoff? When does it end?

Seriously, another layoff announcement from Intel? This is getting ridiculous. I feel like I just saw news about cuts a few months ago. Now they're saying ? employees are out as of July 20th. Is anyone at Intel feeling secure at all? It's demoralizing to see the company making headlines for job cuts, especially when you hear about them bringing in public funds. It just doesn't add up. What's the point of all these cuts if the company isn't seeing sustainable growth or if the leadership is making questionable decisions? It feels like a cycle of layoffs followed by brief periods of calm, then more layoffs. I'm starting to question my own future here, and I know I'm not alone. It makes you wonder if this is the new normal for large tech companies. Anyone else in a similar boat or have any perspective on why this keeps happening?

It's incredibly disheartening to see these repeated layoff announcements. The constant uncertainty must be a huge strain on morale for everyone still there. It's hard to understand the strategy when layoffs seem to be a recurring theme, especially if it's not directly translating into long-term stability or clear signs of recovery. Makes you wonder about the internal priorities and long-term vision.

This pattern of layoffs is definitely concerning. I can only imagine how stressful it must be for employees to constantly worry about their job security. The disconnect between public funding and ongoing cuts is a red flag for many, and it's natural for people to question the leadership's direction and whether these decisions are truly serving the company's best interests in the long run.
