I'm hearing whispers about a possible reorg coming down the pipeline specifically in the Programmable Solutions Group. A friend mentioned that some projects are being quietly shelved, and there's a general sense of unease. Has anyone else heard anything concrete? I'm trying to figure out if I should be concerned, as it directly affects my team's work. It’s always the same though, hear it through the grapevine first, before any official announcements. Yeah, PSG has been rumored to be under the microscope for a while now. Performance hasn't been stellar compared to other groups within Intel. Shelving projects could just be resource reallocation, which happens fairly regularly. But the 'unease' you're describing is usually a sign of something more. Polish up your resume just in case. It's always better to be prepared than caught off guard. Good luck, hope it's just rumors.

Take everything you hear with a huge grain of salt. Remember the last 'reorg' rumors? Turned out to be just a department head shuffle and some minor restructuring. Grapevine stuff is often wildly exaggerated. Unless you see managers actually being escorted out, or official memos, don't panic. Focus on your work and try not to get swept up in the paranoia. Overreacting solves nothing, and can hurt your focus.
