Intel Santa Clara site impacted again - July 28th cuts

Just saw the news about another 103 layoffs, specifically mentioning Santa Clara. This is the second time in recent memory that the SC campus has been hit. Anyone else in that area or on a similar team get the axe or know someone who did? It feels like certain departments are just being hollowed out. Was working on a project that felt pretty critical, but apparently not critical enough to avoid the chopping block. Trying to figure out if this is a broader organizational shift or just more targeted cuts. Curious to hear if anyone has insights into what's driving this recent wave.
