Just saw the news about another 103 employees cut, this time in Santa Clara. It's getting hard to keep track. Honestly, I'm starting to wonder about the stability of my role, especially in the product engineering side. We keep hearing about Intel refocusing on AI and chip manufacturing, which sounds great on paper, but then they cut engineers. Are these cuts targeted at specific projects, or is it a broader restructuring I'm not seeing? Anyone in Santa Clara have any insight into which teams are being hit hardest? It feels like there's a disconnect between the 'AI innovation' narrative and the actual people being let go. Trying to stay optimistic, but it's tough when you see these numbers pop up every few months.

Perhaps the company is shifting resources from older product lines to newer, more promising ventures, and those teams are being streamlined or reallocated. Hopefully, the focus on AI and manufacturing leads to growth elsewhere in the company, but it's understandable to feel uneasy right now.
