Anyone else absolutely dreading Monday mornings lately?

Seriously, what is with the atmosphere around here? I work in the Consumer Health division, and the tension is thicker than ever. Every Monday feels like I'm walking into a firing squad. The constant pressure to perform, the endless meetings that accomplish nothing, and the feeling that everyone is just waiting for the other shoe to drop... it's exhausting. Our team used to be so collaborative, but now everyone is just focused on protecting their own turf. I've been actively applying to other jobs for months now, but the market is tough. I just needed to vent. Anyone else feeling the same way? Or am I just being paranoid?

I hear you. Morale is definitely low company-wide. I'm over in MedTech, and we're seeing similar issues. It feels like the constant restructuring and the uncertainty about the future have created a really toxic environment. People are scared, and that manifests as cutthroat behavior. Honestly, I've started taking advantage of the mental health resources offered. It's helped me cope a bit, but I'm also looking for other opportunities.

Maybe it's just your team? I'm in Pharma, and things are pretty standard. Deadlines are tight, sure, but nothing out of the ordinary for a large corporation. Consumer Health has always seemed a bit more...intense from what I've heard through the grapevine. Have you considered talking to HR or your manager about the atmosphere? Sometimes a direct approach can help clear the air, though I know that's easier said than done.
