Heard whispers about restructuring... anyone else?

I'm in marketing for one of the consumer health brands and I've been hearing some rumblings about a potential restructuring. Nothing concrete, just the usual vague talk about 'efficiency' and 'aligning resources.' Anyone else hearing similar things in their departments? I've been with J&J for 8 years, and I've seen restructurings before, but this feels different. More… ominous? Just trying to gauge if it's just paranoia or something real.

I'm in R&D, and yes, the same whispers are going around here. "Streamlining" is the word being thrown around a lot. I wouldn't dismiss it as paranoia. J&J has been underperforming lately, and restructuring is a common move when that happens. Start quietly updating your resume and networking. Better to be prepared than caught off guard. Been there, done that, got the severance package. Not fun.

Honestly, these 'restructuring' rumors pop up every few years. It's the nature of a massive company like J&J. Unless you see official memos or your direct manager says something, I wouldn't put too much stock in it. Focus on your work, hit your targets, and you'll be fine. Too much speculation just creates unnecessary anxiety.
