Just saw the NJ.com article about J&J laying off 183 employees in New Jersey on May 28th. This feels pretty sudden. For those who were part of this, or know someone who was, what was the process like? Were people given much notice? Any severance details being shared? It’s always a shock, but understanding the company’s approach during these times can be helpful for everyone. Trying to gauge the impact and how J&J is handling this internally. If you're willing to share any details about your experience or what you've heard, it would be greatly appreciated by the community. Hoping for the best for those impacted.

That's incredibly tough news for those impacted. It's always jarring when these things happen, and the lack of transparency during layoffs can really add to the stress. I hope people were treated with dignity and received fair support during this transition. It's a difficult time for any company to navigate, and the human element should always be the priority. Wishing everyone affected the best as they move forward and find new opportunities.

This is a harsh reminder of the current economic climate affecting even large corporations. Hearing about significant layoffs like this is never easy. Hopefully, J&J has provided adequate severance packages and outplacement services to help those affected secure their next roles. It's important for companies to handle these situations with as much compassion and support as possible, given the circumstances. Stay strong to everyone navigating this change.
