J&J Piscataway Layoffs - Anyone Else Affected?

Just saw the news about J&J cutting around 183 people, mostly in NJ. Apparently it happened on May 28th. My heart goes out to everyone impacted, especially if you were in Piscataway or surrounding areas. It's always tough to hear about these things, and I'm wondering how widespread this might be. Did anyone get a notification or hear directly from management about specific departments or roles being affected? Trying to gauge the overall situation and if there's a pattern here. It's rough out there for sure. Any insights or even just solidarity would be appreciated right now.

So sorry to hear about the layoffs. It's incredibly stressful when news like this breaks, and it's even worse when it hits close to home. I haven't heard anything directly, but I'm keeping an eye out. Hoping those affected land on their feet quickly. This kind of uncertainty is awful for everyone involved, not just those directly let go.

That's really tough news. It's a horrible feeling to be blindsided by something like this. I haven't received any personal notification, but I've heard murmurs through the grapevine. It’s hard to get a clear picture when information is scarce. Wishing the best for everyone impacted and hoping for more transparency from the company soon so people can plan accordingly.
