Another round of cuts? 11 people let go in CA

Just saw the latest WARN filing pop up for October 19th. Looks like KP is cutting another 11 people across Oakland and Pasadena with an effective date of December 18th. I know the number seems small compared to the mass layoffs we’ve seen in the past, but the timing right before the holidays is brutal. Does anyone know if this is tied to a specific department or if this is just more 'operational streamlining'? The transparency here is nonexistent as usual. Every time a new notice hits the state site, the mood on the floor drops. Really feeling the 'thriving' culture evaporating day by day.

It is honestly exhausting waiting for the other shoe to drop every few months. Whether it is 11 people or 1,100, the constant 'operational streamlining' is just corporate speak for eroding job security. The timing is particularly cruel with the holidays around the corner. I have stopped looking for transparency from leadership because they stopped valuing employee retention a long time ago. At this point, it feels like they are just trimming headcount to make the quarterly spreadsheets look slightly better, regardless of the human cost.
