L3Harris: Anyone else feeling the budget squeeze?

Hey everyone, been at L3Harris for a few years now, and things have felt... different lately. Not sure if it's just my division or company-wide, but the usual budget for projects and even some operational stuff seems tighter than ever. We're being asked to do more with less, and frankly, the justification for some of these cost-saving measures isn't always clear. Been hearing whispers about hiring freezes in certain departments too, though nothing official. Anyone else noticing this? Are your teams feeling the pinch? Trying to gauge if this is a localized issue or a broader trend. Doesn't feel like the best time to be asking for new resources or even raises, which is a bummer. Curious to hear what others are seeing on the ground.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed it too. It feels like every quarter we're being asked to trim further, and the goals stay the same or even increase. It's leading to a lot of frustration and people feeling stretched way too thin. The lack of transparency on why these cuts are happening doesn't help either. Makes it hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're constantly fighting for basic resources.

Totally agree. The 'do more with less' mantra is getting old, and it's impacting morale. I've seen some really talented folks considering their options because the environment is becoming unsustainable. It's a shame because the work itself can be rewarding, but the constant resource constraints are making it a real challenge to execute effectively. Hoping leadership addresses this proactively soon.
