L3Harris: Anyone else feeling the 'optimization' vibes?

Hey all, been seeing a lot of chatter on here about other defense contractors and wanted to see if anyone at L3Harris is picking up on similar undercurrents. Haven't heard any official word, and my direct manager is giving nothing away, but there's definitely a 'tightening the belt' feeling in some departments. Budgets seem to be scrutinized more, and there's been a lot of talk about 'synergies' and 'streamlining operations' in internal comms. Just wondering if this is widespread or if I'm just in a particularly 'optimized' corner of the company. Trying not to panic, but also want to be prepared. Anyone in different divisions hearing anything similar, or is it business as usual for you? Curious to hear from others who might be seeing the same things or have insights into how these things typically play out in our industry.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. Budgets are way tighter this quarter, and projects that were a green light last month are suddenly on hold for 'further review.' Lots of talk about efficiency and consolidation, which usually translates to fewer resources and more work for the rest of us. Hoping it's just a temporary cycle, but it's making things feel a bit uncertain.

Totally get what you mean. It's not just rumors; I've seen actual process changes designed to 'reduce duplication.' It feels like they're looking for any excuse to cut costs, even if it means disrupting workflows. Management keeps using buzzwords, but the reality on the ground is less about innovation and more about making do with less. Anyone else notice specific teams getting hit harder than others?
