L3Harris: Anyone else noticing increased scrutiny on projects?

Been with L3Harris for a few years now, and it feels like the post-COVID era has brought a different vibe. My team, and a few others I've chatted with informally (off the record, obviously), seem to be under a microscope more than usual. Budgets are tight, and it feels like every expenditure, every project milestone, is being questioned at a higher level. It's not just me being stressed; it's a genuine shift in how things are being managed, from what I can tell. Anyone else seeing this? Is it a company-wide thing, or just our division? Trying to understand if this is a temporary belt-tightening or a sign of something more significant down the line. It’s making it hard to plan and even just feel secure in the day-to-day.

Yeah, I've definitely felt that pressure. It seems like the financial climate is making everyone a bit more cautious, and that translates down to project management. More reviews, more sign-offs required, and a general sense of needing to justify every single line item. It's not necessarily a bad thing for accountability, but it can slow things down considerably and add a layer of stress we didn't used to have. Hoping things ease up a bit, but I'm not holding my breath.

Interesting you bring this up. My experience has been similar. There's a heightened awareness of resource allocation and ROI across the board. It feels like leadership is really focused on maximizing efficiency and ensuring every project aligns perfectly with strategic goals. While it can be a bit intense, I also see it as an opportunity to showcase the value we bring and to operate more leanly. Just have to adapt to the new rhythm, I guess.
