Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter on other defense forums about potential belt-tightening across the industry. Has anyone at L3Harris noticed any unusual signs lately? Like hiring freezes, project slowdowns, or just a general sense of unease? My team's workload has been a bit inconsistent, and leadership seems a little cagey when asked about future headcount. It could be nothing, but with the current economic climate and consolidation in the defense sector, it's hard not to worry. Anyone have any insights or heard any whispers from management or higher up? Trying to gauge the general sentiment across different divisions if possible. Is it just my area or is this a company-wide feeling?

Yeah, I've been feeling a similar vibe. My department hasn't seen any major red flags like layoffs yet, but the hiring freeze on several key positions feels significant. We were expecting to fill those roles last quarter. Leadership's answers are definitely vague when pressed about long-term stability, which is a bit unnerving.
