Lincoln National - anyone else feeling the tremors?

Hey everyone, has anyone else at LNC been getting a weird vibe lately? I haven't heard any official announcements or anything concrete about layoffs, but there's definitely been a shift. More meetings about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' than usual, and some of the internal chatter feels… off. Managers seem a bit more stressed, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring for some roles. Just wondering if it's just me or if others are sensing some potential instability. Trying not to panic, but it's hard not to notice the subtle changes. Curious to hear if anyone has more direct information or has experienced similar things in other departments. What's the general mood out there?

I'm definitely picking up on some of that too. It's that uneasy quiet that makes you wonder what's brewing. The 'efficiency' talk has been constant, and it feels like a precursor to something bigger. Not hearing direct layoff news is a small comfort, but the general atmosphere is definitely more tense than it was even a few months ago. Hope it's just a cyclical thing, but it's hard to shake the feeling that changes are on the horizon. Appreciate you bringing this up, it's good to know I'm not alone in noticing this shift.
