Lincoln National - Budget cuts impacting projects?

Has anyone else experienced project scope reductions or outright cancellations at LNC recently? Feels like budgets are being tightened across the board, and it's starting to impact what we can actually accomplish. Some of the initiatives that were greenlit a few months ago are now being questioned or put on indefinite hold. It's making it hard to plan and even harder to stay motivated when work feels like it's being sandbagged. Wondering if this is a widespread LNC thing or if it's just isolated to certain divisions. Curious to hear if others are seeing similar trends and how it's affecting your day-to-day workload and future outlook. Is this the prelude to something bigger, or just typical end-of-year budget re-evaluation?

I've definitely seen some shifts too. It feels like the 'nice-to-haves' are getting the axe first, and even some of the things we thought were core priorities are now under review. Planning is a nightmare when the goalposts keep moving, or worse, disappear entirely. It's understandable from a business perspective, but it makes the day-to-day grind pretty demotivating when you can't see the tangible progress you expected.

Yeah, it's not just you. There's a definite chill in the air regarding new spending and even existing commitments. Seems like every dollar is being scrutinized, which is leading to a lot of 're-prioritization' and projects getting shelved. It's frustrating because we're losing momentum on things that could genuinely make a difference, but I suppose everyone's feeling the pinch right now.
