Anyone else notice hiring freeze affecting non-eng teams too?

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of posts about frozen requisitions on the engineering side, which is understandable given the market. But lately, I've noticed it spreading to other departments. I'm in a marketing role, been here about 4 years, and my team's open req for a new specialist has been stuck in 'review' for over two months now. My manager is being super tight-lipped, just saying 'budget constraints'. It's not just us either, I've heard similar rumblings from folks in Ops and Biz Dev. Feels like a broader hiring slowdown than just tech roles. Anyone else in non-eng departments seeing this or getting any clarity?
