Anyone else noticing the weird calendar blocks for leadership?

I’ve been tracking the leadership calendars for the last week and it’s looking suspicious. There are these huge 'all-hands' style blocks appearing and disappearing for random VPs, and HR seems to be in back-to-back meetings that don't make any sense given our current roadmap. We were told after the last round that we were 'right-sized' and focused on growth, but the silence from the executive team this week is deafening. Every time I log into Slack, I’m half-expecting to see that little red badge indicating I’ve been logged out. Is anyone hearing anything from their managers in 1:1s? Mine usually gives me a heads-up if things are shaky, but lately, they’ve been completely tight-lipped and acting robotic. Just trying to figure out if I need to update my resume tonight or if I’m just being paranoid because of the market climate.

I noticed the same thing with the calendar blocks. It feels exactly like the lead-up to the last major round of layoffs, where everyone started acting twitchy and suddenly unavailable. If they are planning another restructure, keeping us in the dark only makes the anxiety worse. The lack of transparency right now is honestly frustrating, especially when they keep insisting that we are 'focused on growth.' I’ve stopped trusting the internal messaging entirely and started updating my resume just in case.

You aren't imagining things. Those blocked-out slots have been popping up across the entire organization, not just with the VPs. It’s hard to stay productive when you feel like the floor could drop out at any second. I remember seeing this exact pattern right before the previous departures, and it’s unsettling to see it happening again. If leadership really had a plan for stability, they would be communicating clearly rather than hiding behind private calendar invites and silence. It’s definitely time to keep your options open.
