Is it time to jump ship? Recruiting activity suddenly spiked...

I've been seeing a massive uptick in LinkedIn recruiter activity targeting me and my team (Product). It's been like this for the past few weeks. I'm not actively looking, but the sheer volume of InMail and connection requests is kinda freaking me out. Feels like the recruiters know something we don't... or maybe just opportunistically preying on the anxiety. Either way, I've updated my resume and started passively browsing just in case. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it a coincidence or a sign?

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing. The constant barrage of recruiter messages is definitely unsettling. I wouldn't necessarily panic, but it's wise to be prepared. Dusting off the resume and seeing what's out there is never a bad idea, even in a stable market. Keep your ear to the ground and talk to your network outside of Lyft, that's the best way to get an accurate temperature of the market.

Recruiter activity ebbs and flows. It's likely just a hot market for your specific skillset in product right now, not necessarily a sign of impending doom at Lyft. They likely target entire departments/roles, not necessarily knowing anything specific about Lyft's internal situation. I wouldn't read too much into it, but it also never hurts to keep options open! Don't let the anxiety get to you.
