My recruiter contact went dark a few weeks ago, and a role I was interested in got put on hold indefinitely. It's not just my department; I've heard similar stories from friends in other areas of the company. Combined with the 'optimization' language from leadership, it's making me a little nervous about job security. Just wondering if anyone has concrete info or has been told anything about hiring slowing down or stopping altogether. Trying to get a pulse on what's really going on behind the scenes.
