What skills are actually valuable post-layoff?

So, my department (Engineering) just had some major restructuring. A bunch of people I've worked with for years are gone. Now I'm trying to figure out what skills are truly 'safe' or in demand, not just at MC, but externally. I've got a strong background in backend Java and cloud infrastructure (AWS), but honestly, a lot of the buzz is around data analytics and maybe some specific front-end frameworks. Anyone who's been through this before, or who's hiring, what are you looking for? Trying to future-proof my career here, feeling pretty exposed right now.
