I'm in a similar boat, program manager here too, and my RSUs just vested. It's a tough call. I'm leaning towards selling about half. It feels like a good way to lock in some gains while still having some exposure if things rebound. The semiconductor cycle is notoriously volatile, and honestly, keeping everything feels like too much of a gamble right now. Plus, diversifying is always a good idea, regardless of industry outlook. Good luck with your decision!
Selling? I'm holding. Micron has weathered cycles before, and this feels like a temporary dip. The long-term prospects for memory chips are still strong, especially with increasing data demands. Plus, if you've been there 5 years, you likely believe in the company's future. Selling now might be locking in a loss if the market corrects upwards. I'm personally waiting to see what Q2 earnings look like before making any big moves. Don't get spooked by short-term noise.
