I'm in manufacturing and I'm hearing similar things. It's unnerving to have this uncertainty hanging over us. Management hasn't been particularly transparent, which just fuels the speculation. Sales here, and the grapevine is buzzing. Even if there are no official layoffs announced, any hint of cuts can create anxiety.
