Severance package details at Micron? What to expect?

Hypothetically speaking, if there WERE to be layoffs, what kind of severance package does Micron typically offer? I've heard some companies are generous, others not so much. I'm in a senior engineering role, been here for 4 years. I'm just trying to be prepared and understand what my options might be. Does anyone have any experience with this, or know where I can find some reliable information? Glassdoor is kinda all over the place. I just want to know what kind of bridge I would have to the next job.

I was impacted a few years back. For engineering roles, they generally offered two weeks of base pay for every year of service. They also paid out accrued vacation time. Benefits continued for a few months after the separation date, but don't quote me. Get your resume polished up, just in case, and start networking. Better to be proactive than reactive. Good luck to you.

Take everything you read on Glassdoor with a massive grain of salt. Severance packages are highly variable, depending on your specific role, tenure, and the circumstances surrounding any potential layoff. Four years isn't exactly a short stint, but it isn't a long one either. It's probably more realistic to expect something closer to the bare minimum required by law, plus maybe a little extra for good measure. Don't plan your life around a golden parachute.
