Anyone else feeling the chill at Netflix?

Hearing some whispers around the office lately, nothing concrete but enough to get people talking. It's that usual pre-layoff vibe – budgets being scrutinized, projects suddenly put on hold, and a general sense of unease. I haven't seen any official comms, and my immediate team seems okay for now, but the rumor mill is churning pretty fast. Anyone else in a different department noticing anything similar? Just trying to gauge if it's company-wide or isolated. Trying not to panic but it's hard when you see other streamers making cuts.

Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift lately. Budgets are tighter, and there's a noticeable increase in project reviews. It's easy to let the rumors get to you, but sometimes these things are just standard business adjustments. Trying to focus on my own work and stay positive, but it's hard not to pick up on the general mood. Hopefully, it's nothing serious.

Totally get what you're saying. The office atmosphere has been a bit tense, and you can feel the caution in meetings. I've heard some similar chatter, mostly about stricter spending and a more critical eye on upcoming initiatives. It's definitely creating a buzz. My department hasn't seen any direct impact yet, but I'm keeping my ears open. It’s just the uncertainty that’s unnerving.
