It’s been a rough morning. Fox Business just confirmed what some of us feared since the start of the week. My manager pulled me into a 'sync' that ended with my access getting revoked before I could even finish my coffee. They aren't even calling it a restructure this time, just a clean sweep of the dev and creative support pipelines. Seeing the calendar invites for my teammates getting purged in real-time is haunting. I’ve been here for three years and honestly, the 'culture of excellence' memo feels like a total joke today. For those of you still logged in, keep an eye on your status. The vibe in the office is completely dead and no one is actually getting work done. I’m just trying to figure out how to export my projects before the VPN kill switch hits my home machine. If anyone has leads on where the severance packages are actually landing, please let us know. Take some time to breathe and step away from the screen; your work and your worth aren't defined by a corporate layoff spreadsheet.

This is unfortunately the standard playbook for these streamers now. They squeeze every bit of creative value out of the staff during growth phases and then purge the pipelines the second the quarterly targets shift. It is a brutal industry, and those 'team-first' values usually disappear the second a bottom line is threatened. Don't take it personally—these decisions are made in ivory towers with zero regard for the people who actually built the product.
