Been with News Corp for about 7 years now, working in the digital content strategy team. Lately, there's been this… vibe. A lot of hushed conversations, people deleting calendars last minute, and a general air of unease. No official word from management, of course, but it feels like something's brewing. Heard whispers about restructuring in certain editorial departments. My manager has been cagey when asked about future projects, just saying 'things are fluid.' Is anyone else picking up on this? Feels like the calm before a storm, and honestly, it's making me anxious. Any insights from other parts of the company? Especially curious about the print side and the larger corporate functions. Just trying to get a sense of the landscape.

I've been in a different division but I've definitely noticed a similar 'vibe' across the company recently. It's the little things, you know? The sudden silence on certain long-term initiatives, people being hesitant to make plans past a certain date. 'Fluid' is a diplomatic way of saying 'we don't know what's happening either, but we don't want to cause a panic.' I'd start updating your resume just in case, no harm in being prepared. Better to have it and not need it.
